RIASEC is a way of sorting everyone into five groups with different work traits. The five groups/traits are realistic, investigative, artisit, social, enterprising, conventional. Through taking a test, I have found out that I scored highest in the qualities of investigative, enterprising, and conventional. Investigative people have a tendency to think about topic they are interested in, hence another name for the investigative group: thinkers. The other name for the enterprising group is persuaders. Most people in this group are, as implied in the name, entreprenuers. By definition, this means that they are people who starts their own buisness, especially when this involves seeing a new oppotunity (“Entreprenuer’). The last group I had qualities for was conventional, otheriwse known as organizers. People in this group prefer structured enviroments, working with data, and systematic tasks. After getting the results of the test, I was surprised to find that it was actually pretty accurate. Investigating and thinking is something I feel like everyone does and should do more. I feel like I have many enterprising people around me, and have affected me in a way that makes me a bit of an enterprenuer as well. Although I scored highest in enterprising (I think I kind of forgot), I personally feel like I’m very conventional. I like having structure in several aspects of my life, and after taking this test I start noticing this quality about myself.
